Introduction

Hello! My name is Layla. This year I've decided to take GT extended learning seminar as a course to develop my understanding of social and developmental psychology. Everyone's minds operate differently, and its a fascinating, complex, and in-depth science. I'm interested in this subject for a variety of reasons; firstly, I'm quite fascinated by the way people's minds are shaped, and how they act and communicate because of their history. I also don't understand people that well, and I want to learn ways to better communicate with people from work and school, and understand how to better meet their needs. I plan on working in the aquarist field in the future, and I believe that this course of learning will help me communicate with team members, propose ideas, and better communicate with future co-workers. All in all, I believe that this course will help me both with the learning itself but also with the experience of constructing a large scale presentation on my own.
